September is the point where the fixture list gets serious. The window is closed, early form is starting to mean something, and all five major leagues run three rounds before the break. For anyone registering with Bet9ja in September, the promotion code is YOHAIG.

What you get for entering the code

There is a promo field on the Bet9ja sign-up form, and plenty of new users leave it blank. You only get one chance to fill it, because the code cannot be added after the account exists. Type YOHAIG into that box and the account is flagged for the welcome offer, worth up to ₦100,000 depending on your first deposit.

The code itself is free. It works on new registrations only, and there are rollover terms attached, as there are on every offer of this kind. Read them on the promo page before you fund the account rather than after.

Register with promotion code YOHAIG for up to ₦100,000 welcome bonus.

Opening weekend of the month

The pick of the opening weekend is Roma against Atalanta at 19:45 on the Saturday. It sits inside a heavy weekend. That Saturday also brings RC Lens against Lorient at 14:00 and Nice against Le Mans at 19:45. All times here are Nigerian. Because the UK is still on summer time, UK listings match Nigerian time exactly in September.

The second run of fixtures

The one everybody will be on is Brest against Paris Saint-Germain at 19:45 on the Sunday. The supporting card includes Elversberg against Bayern Munich at 16:30 on the Sunday. Note that La Liga plays a full midweek round on 15, 16 and 17 September, easy to overlook.

The final club weekend of the month

The last weekend carries the Madrid derby, Atletico against Real Madrid, at 15:15 on the Sunday. After that the club calendar shuts down. All five major leagues stop after Sunday 20 September and do not return until October. The extended FIFA window runs from 24 September to 6 October, so there is no top-flight club football in those countries between 21 and 30 September.

The Super Eagles fill the gap

In Nigeria the break is anything but quiet. The Super Eagles start 2027 AFCON qualifying at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium against Madagascar, before an away trip to Guinea-Bissau four days later. The draw put Nigeria in Group L alongside Tanzania, Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau, and there is a catch in it. Tanzania are co-hosts and have their place already, so the route out of the group works differently. After missing the 2026 World Cup, patience around the squad is thin.

How to approach a month shaped like this

Put the code in during sign-up, because it cannot be added later. The code only applies to a new account. Fix your budget for the month up front. Look at the bonus terms first, not after the money is in. Weight your month towards 4 to 20 September. There is very little club football after that. Price the AFCON games on their own terms, not by club-football habits. Team news moves those lines hard. Cut a leg or two off the acca you were about to build.

Terms shift, so read the live version rather than something cached in a group chat. The full breakdown of the bet9ja promotion code sits on bet9japromotioncode.ng.
